Based in Wagga Wagga, NSW - Wagga & District Car Club(WDCC) services the Wagga region in motorsport. We conduct motorkhana and khanacross events, on both tarmac and offroad surfaces. All of our events are conducted under the approval of the Australian Auto Sport Alliance (AASA). Our events cater for all ages and experience levels from Juniors(12-17yrs) to seniors.
Historically a rally oriented club, WWDCC has diversified over recent years to incorporate other motorsport disciplines amongst its members. Club members now also compete in circuit events and off road events throughout NSW and Victoria.
WWDCC utilises a variety of venues for events including the purpose built Khanacross circuit within the confides of the Wagga Kart Club on Tasman Rd Wagga Wagga and a Tramac/skid pan area on the edge of the small township of Rosewood. At times we utilise some private property venues, giving drivers a variety of event locations for competition. The WWDCC are also invited to join the Albury/Wondonga District Car Club for lap dash events throughtout the year at the Wodonga TAFE NISTC Logic Centre, a tarmac venue which includes a small road course.
The club now draws its strength from local drivers and focuses its attention on conducting events designed to test the acceleration, braking and general manoeuvrability of a vehicle and the skill of the driver.
The club is also activity in running Rally events. The club plans to holding 2 events this year in the Rosewood forest area.
